Where movement becomes magic
About
Patricia Teves is a professional dancer and senior belly dance teacher, born in Argentina. At age 9 she began exploring Spanish dance, classical ballet, modern dance, and belly dance.
At 14 she turned professional, performing at events and Arabic restaurants. Three years later, at 17, she founded her own belly dance school.
Patricia has competed internationally, winning gold and silver medals in 2008, and the title Best Professional Dancer for improvising with a live Arabic orchestra. She has led workshops in dance and Arabic rhythmology with musicians from Al Ya al and Al Fan Arab Orchestra across Argentina, and served as a judge in dance competitions.
In 2009 Patricia received the title Professional Dancer and Senior Teacher of Arabic Dances. She deepened her art under the best teachers — Saida, Maiada, Laial and Amir Thaleb, as well as Stefania Villagra, Sebastian Osorio and Pablo Acosta.
